Sarda Group of Industries’ Ghanshyam Sarda plans training centre for inexperienced jute workers [Ghanshyam Sarda](https://theprint.in/theprint-valuead-initiative/sarda-group-of-industries-ghanshyam-sarda-plans-training-centre-for-inexperienced-jute-workers/783191/), a Kolkata-based conglomerate with stakes in jute, real estate, and IT is planning to set up a training center for new jute mill employees. The initiative is probably aimed at strengthening the economy by increasing the efficiency and productivity of the jute industry. The group turnover is Rs. Rs 2,000 crore and operates eight jute mills across West Bengal, producing over 500 tonnes of jute goods per day. They have recently invested around Rs 100 crore in a new jute mill in Alwar, Rajasthan.
